“..there are also times when categorization itself may be unethical. Sometimes it’s just plain wrong to think of people in terms of the groups they belong to rather than as individuals in their own right. Categorization is an essential tool of thought, but like other tools we have to be careful how we use it.”
The Pitfalls of Categorization, Professor Patrick Grim, 2013

"The use of force and violence is more commonplace and prevalent in some families, communities, religions, cultural/ethnic groups and societies based on the views and values about adult prerogatives with children espoused. They may also be based upon the sociopathy of the perpetrators."

"Culture, of course, is related to violence in general and not only to structural violence. For example, culture influences the determination of "thresholds" which pressure on a person must overcome in order to move that person from being controllable, or even positive, to being negative (that is, into violence)."

“The Terror was established in the name of “the people.” But in fact the people of France lay helpless in the clutches of an extravagantly small minority. And this minority continually diminished. Everywhere the Jacobian societies (Society of the Jacobins, Friends of Freedom and Equality) “purified” themselves by sweeping expulsions of their members. Large number of themselves were held to convict a society of “impurity.” “Virtue is always in a minority,” said Robespierre."

Mosul: ‘I would kill every last one of the ISIS families’, ANTHONY LOYD, The Times, July 13, 2017

'Sometimes.'

How often do we see a group-culture intent on terror-social/political subjugation; being rid of ‘impurity’ draping themselves in the antitheses of their behaviour, as if this will wash away their tyranny, for do they not say what they stand for, can we not see the label on the ideological can, are we blind? We can see the broken bodies in the streets, the ‘purifying’ of social/political space.

Mosul: ‘I would kill every last one of the ISIS families’ the contributory reason IS rose in the first place, sectarian violent disagreement as to what it means to be a true Muslim which necessarily also is violently reflected internally within each sect, being in essence an internal/external argument as to who should get most of the sheep or indeed any of it given Muslims are polygamous who should get most of the women-sex-your genetic-inhabiting bacterium survival into the next generation, women become even scarcer than sheep. Why do you think Muslims came up with such a self-indulgent exploitative rape construct of Other cultures women as utensils-No idea at all yet why the Muslim culture is fundamentally dangerously violent regards their own and Other? You allow, even supply the means for such a culture to flourish in your space and you determine yourself not dangerously insane?

To claim Mosul as an exemplar of Muslim inter-sectarian inter-cultural harmony and this violence in both Muslim directions is mere aberration is a severe case of Recency effect, the Quran dictates for both Muslim sides a 'rational' argument predicated upon one side having more power than the other to deliver violence but just not enough to complete the genocide (fear works be it rational or otherwise –ask the medieval feudal French peasant or the pagan in the streets of Egypt Alexandria 391 AD) leading to agree to disagree about what is necessarily a stark inequity is merely a lull in proceedings as it is for Other. How many times for instance in just Damascus Syria do you have to see this played out before a sickening pattern emerges which is the Muslim inherent cultural nature?

Lulls however long, are whether explicitly or implicitly understood by Muslims or Other is a time for reaching once again the required resource/social/political thresholds to achieve what the Islamic/Muslim sacred source determines as the ‘true path’. This is the set down sacred religious version of Rousseau’s social contract Muslims have with God-Allah (Mohammed) ruler, that cannot ever be broken by God-Allah the setter, enforcer of ‘right behaviour’ to achieve an physical-spiritual Islamic State. God Allah (Mohammed) does not do deals as the Christians with any power other than Himself.

Quran 3:56 ‘As to those who reject the faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.” Allah said apparently.

Is it therefore surprising or unexpected, for how else is the proposition of Quran 3:56 ‘terrible agony in this world’ to manifest in reality and not be known as mere cultural bluff without effect; God-Allah the Merciful the Gracious descends to burn alive in a cage, shoot down in the street, massacre in a university dormitory,…..? You have such a Muslim sacred ethic proposition interlinked with concepts of evil Other and you claim you have no idea why we continue to have burning buildings, broken bodies and lives stretching from the 7th century?

‘I would kill every last one of the (Muslim sect-) families’

There is a worse construct for those Muslims chosen by God to be Muslims who the other Muslim sect determines have rejected the true path, than for Other who God rejects outright for the Quran tells us in the very first pages even if Other read the Quran God precludes Other from understanding and therefore condemns them to grievous harm and severest penalty-sounds rational. So those determining, as Muslims are subject more to terror-genocide than Other in certain spaces Muslims should be pitied and helped by Other fighting and dying in Muslim sectarian wars ignores the reality Muslims own Islamic/Muslim concepts determines this fate, their very own easily identifiable sacred source of ethics-beliefs-motivation social/political method. Otherwise such behaviour would not happen-it could not happen there would be no cultural concepts to drive the behaviour.

If a culture systemically creates the 'virtuous minority' from its cultural codex combined birth to death development process which is not limited to a specific space and time, is not an aberration as was the Terror of the 'virtuous' Society of the Jacobins, Friends of Freedom and Equality, but continues unceasingly across generations, where resides the 'seat of the disturbance', the cause which unless suppressed will continue to rain fire and brimstone?

“ the more violent the original convulsion the greater will be the distance from it at which its consequences, direct and indirect, will appear, and the harder it will be to disengage the originating courses from their more or less accidental results, and so to seize the reality of the forces in operation. When volcanic forces are at work underground it is easy enough to detect some of the innumerable fissures which will open upon the earth’s surface, but these may well be a long way distant from the seat of the disturbance. …. scientific study must inevitably select the central and structural. And that selection must be made upon some principle, if we are not to be driven back once more upon the unphilosophic partisanship…..”
THE REVOLUTIONARY IDEA IN FRANCE, 1789 to 1871, Lord Elton, 1923

“..terrorists typically are no more religiously devout than are non-terrorists (Atran, 2003), using religion to sanctify terrorism should be useful for generating additional motivational force to impel individual acts of terrorism as well as to sustain collective will for long campaigns of terrorism (Atran, 2003; Juergensmeyer, 2003).

Indeed, means end analysis of terrorism (Kruglanski & Fishman, 2006) implies a role for cultural (including religious) factors that influence many facets of self-regulation, including (a) the goals people select, (b) the motivational force that becomes attached to those goals, (c) error monitoring, (d) self-regulatory strength, and (e) the outputs at people’s disposal for modifying their behavior to maintain progress toward goal attainment. In other words, a self-regulation analysis of religion suggests that religion is well suited to motivate any behavior that is predicated on self-control and self-regulation, whether that behavior is studying hard for final exams or donning an explosives belt and then detonating it on a crowded city bus.”
Religion, self-regulation, and self-control: Associations, explanations, and implications, Michael E. McCullough and Brian L. B. Willoughby - Psychological bulletin, 2009

"Patey said he did not believe Saudi Arabia was directly funding terrorist groups, but rather an ideology that leads to extremism, and suggested that its leaders might not be aware of the consequences. “It is unhealthy and we need to do something about it,” he said."
Saudi Arabia boosting extremism in Europe, says former ambassador, the guardian, Patrick Wintour, 3 July 2017

Of course adherents contained within a non-contradictory cultural rationale system will not see that their culture-ideology systemically informs extremism leading inexorably to terror against Other. Yet this is not the first time this claim as to the Muslim ideology informing terror. It is clear the reality the combined Muslim ideology-birth to death development processes is providing the resources, creating the extremism the terror, not the 'virtuous minority'  a cultures altruistic enforcers/punishers/aligners managing and delivering the terror for the many and the few are inextricably one - yet Western gatekeepers continue to dangerously obfuscate even when they know the true path to terror is via Islamic/Muslim ideology if not removed will continue to inform the same.

Could someone please explain to me why humanity persists in allowing such a destructive ideology concept package "that leads to extremism" being delivered to humanity's doorstep each and everyday? When we open that package what do we always, always find? Is this not the mark of a culture requiring always to be exclude from any society’s social/political space if such a society does indeed believe peace and harmony is of the essence always not just sometimes?
